M. Scott Sears, Director - President - Reserve Development (Helium and Gaseous Hydrocarbons)
Mr. Sears is the founder of IACX and previously served as its CEO. He stepped down from the CEO position to lead company’s push into the increasingly important helium reserve acquisition business. A career explorationist, Mr. Sears is uniquely qualified to recognize helium deposits/reserves from a geological perspective. Mr. Sears previously held the position of Vice President at Inter-American Corporation (the “IAC” in “IACX”), Oklahoma Oil Company and was responsible for prospect identification and development. He is a member of the AAPG, AAPL, Dallas Geological Society, the West Texas Geological Society, the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association, the Kansas Independent Oil & Gas Association, and others. He received both his MBA and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
Jeremy C. Jordan, Director - President - Plant Leasing and Midstream Development
Mr. Jordan is responsible for project identification, evaluation and structuring, and performs all in-house financial functions for the Company. Jeremy joined Inter-American in 2003, where he focused on project generation and finance. Mr. Jordan co-founded IACX in 2006. He previously was a co-founder of Vox Partners, L.P., a boutique advisory firm tailored to early-stage companies seeking institutional equity financing. Prior to Vox, Mr. Jordan worked in the private placement group at Stonegate Securities, Inc., a Dallas-based investment banking firm specializing in the distribution of private placements of public equities. Mr. Jordan received his BBA degree from Southern Methodist University (Dallas, Texas) with a concentration in Finance.
Herb Reinhold, PE - Vice President of Engineering
Mr. Reinhold oversees plant engineering, design and fabrication, operations and startup activities for all of IACX operations. Mr. Reinhold co-founded IACX in 2006, after a career of over 25 years involving process development, plant design and engineering management. In addition, Mr. Reinhold has taught a number of undergraduate courses in chemical engineering. Mr. Reinhold is a licensed Professional Engineer, a member of NSPE and ASME, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has been awarded ten patents related to PSA.
Cody J. Compton, Accounting
Mr. Compton is responsible for all accounting and financial related matters, and is also responsible for other areas such as purchasing and procurement and human resource issues. Cody joined the IACX team in July 2007 where he has focused on the development and implementation of procedures and internal controls related to the Company’s financial reporting process. Prior to joining IACX, Cody worked in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP where he worked on clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small, private entities. Mr. Compton is a CPA and is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs and the AICPA. Mr. Compton received both his Master of Science – Finance and Bachelor of Business Administration – Accounting from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
